Battlefield Bad Company 2 Fov
Despite the release of BF3 being around the corner, we haven't forgotten all about Bad Company 2. We have a game update ready for BFBC2 PC, which is coming out this week. It is client R11. The exact build number is 795745. What is the patch about? Its main purpose is to address stability problems with the game and performance issues.

Bigtime, it increases your Field of Vision. It makes it look better. I have mine set to 75, looks good. May fiddle with it more, maybe 80 or so if you're running 16x10.FOV calulator:This thread has good images to help explain:So far this game kicks ass. Runs smooth as silk, I never drop below 60FPS (upped my 5850 to 900 on the core), all settings high except shadows medium and HBAO off (couldn't see much improvement for the FPS hit). I played the BETA since release so I'm not getting pwnt all the time which is nice. This is a really fine fire-and-movement, teamwork, and goal oriented shooter.
The jungle/desert/woodland maps are gorgeous and big. Haven't really messed with single player much. The Gold version is much better optimized than the Beta IMO.
Sh1t, I need to sleep. Gotta work soon, 6 hrs just went.poof.:OI haven't been this pleased with an FPS in ages. That really sucks that they have not released a finished game, my retail copy arrives tomorrow, and I have 450mb of data ( which I had to pay extra for as my DL/month ran out already ) and I got the extra data just so I could activate new retail games with steam etc, I can't waste my data on a patch they say has FOV features.which aren't even an in game option, just to get it running properly, how lame.If they released a stand alone patch it wouldn't be that big a deal, if anyone comes across a download link for said stand alone patch, it would be appreciated if you would paste it here. Click to expand.i don't understand what you're complaining about.you have 450mb of data left, the patch is less then 300, but.you don't want to download the patch? You want to download a stand alone patch, which.makes no sense? They'd both be the same thingBtw, the patch has more then FOV features, it has 2 maps, performance increase, aswell as the FOV, and other fixes, more then likely all of this was mainly due to the fact they knew people would pirate the game before it was released, makes sense. To be honest, almost nothing in your post even makes any sense, such as 'extra data' so you could 'add new retail games to steam'?
That doesn't make any sense, you bought more gigs to be able to be downloaded so you could install games, add them to steam (i'm assuming through adding non-steam game), which requires no bandwidth?Honestly man, not trying to bash you, but your whole post made little to no sense. Click to expand.I want a stand alone patch so that I can download it from elsewhere and use it on my PC so I don't waste 75% of my data ( which has to last me 2 weeks ) on a god damn patch, how hard is that to understand.
I couldn't care less about the maps as I won't play online.Their post release patch will not stop pirates. You realise that they will simply upload the patch files.as they always do when a game is patched. They said the retail game could simply use a disk check and not need to go online, but that isn't true if they purposely released a broken game that I have to go online and use a ridiculous auto patcher everytime I install the game. They should have released a stand alone patch. Click to expand.i'm not saying it was a smart idea, and yes, when you put it that way for downloading it elsewhere, that does make sense, however you DID NOT imply that at all in your original postAs to the game getting patched for pirates, duh? Seriously, developers/publishers put DRM in their games to stop pirates, does it stop them?
Never, will they still try and stop them? Ofcourse, same applies hereThere will probably never be a stand-alone patch, just an FYI, as the patch does not install like a regular patch, it patches much like how steam patches their games. Click to expand.Didnt u play BETA? Damn man.my steam will unlock tomorrow.but i can tell u about BETA. Nobody will dolphin dive, or make crazy jumps.nobody is FAST enough to jump next to u with surprise attacks.game is slow phased a bit.good imo.people cant camp properly because no pron and LEAN.
If u die, the killer has no chance to camp around.but without lean and prone, taking cover never be a problem.but no cover is safe, someone can blow it up s, ur uncovered againthere r many things to tell but let players who own the game right now tell it.
Nothing was modified in any input file, only the sensitivity in game was changed. And it's not a little bit off it's almost 180 degrees off when converting BC2 to BF3 or BF4.Seems to be off when converting BF3 or BF4 to BC2 sensitivity.
The three superstar DJs who make up the group, and, all placed in the Top 25 of DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs of 2009 list, and it’s easy to hear why after a spin of the record. 's first mix album, is sure to please clubgoers from Miami to Ibiza (not so coincidentally the title of one of the two songs recorded themselves for the mix). It’s filled with the kind of uptempo floor-fillers that dancers crave, mixed one after the other like some kind of sweaty, glittery marathon of thick synths, diva vocal interjections, and fist-pumping breakdowns. One swedish house mafia zippyshare.
No worries, I haven't seen anyone get the conversions right for converting sensitivity for BC2 to something else. Before it wasn't letting me change the DPI value of the 'new game' when that new game was set to BC2, seems to be working now. Probably just a fluke or the notifyproperty change not being triggered. I don't believe acceleration is the issue I was only doing slow mouse movements across the pad to see the amount needed to 360.
Also it's unchecked in the options for BC2 and I noticed BC2 uses raw input by default at the very least windows bar doesn't affect it.Current game sensitivity.28, dpi 800, fov 70 although it's got the X on it on here so that shouldn't matter right?, wps 6, distance on here says around 98 cm.New game sensitivity is 0.004046, dpi 450, fov 96, wps 6, distance on here says 98 cm.Actual distance in game seems to be around 108 however that's sort of close to what it says on here. I think the problem might be the calculation for the starting sensitivity.
Because there is no way that sensitivity for BC2 is 98 cm for a 360. Does this site take in account the default 'yaw/pitch' factor that are available in BC2's in-game settings? These might be what are affecting the starting sensitvity, default is 1 by the way.
